Suee Lim answered questions during the debate session in honor of the speech of the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah during the Selangor state assembly session on Monday.
SHAH ALAM - The Royal Klang City Council (MBDK) cannot upgrade all infrastructure and public facilities 'overnight'.
Selangor Local Government and Tourism Exco, Datuk Ng Suee Lim said, many residents, especially in Klang, have high hopes and think that when the local authority (PBT) changes city status, all open space infrastructure can be repaired immediately.
"I want to tell you sincerely, we cannot do it in a short time.
"However, we take note and will focus on any open areas including playgrounds that still lack landscaping and so on to be upgraded," he said.
He said this while answering questions from Meru State Assembly Member Mariam Abdul Rashid.
Earlier, Mariam interrupted the debate session to uphold the order of the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah's speech at the Selangor State Legislative Assembly (DUN) session on Monday.
Mariam said, Suee Lim's explanation focused more on the main area in the city center than in the Meru area which is located in the north.
"While in Meru there are more than 160 on average I see open spaces or even playgrounds that are not well maintained.
