Taman Rakyat is located on Jalan Tun Dr. Ismail, Taman Sri Andalas. The main attraction of this park is the 'formal garden', a reflexology site, remote viewing hut, forest trail and jogging track.
The development of Taman Rakyat with an area of 81 acres has the concept of 'Park for All' which is still in the development stage. The planned development puts more pressure on the maintenance of a green area and the regeneration of secondary forests. The development of Taman Rakyat includes work in stages according to suitability and priority.
As a result of good maintenance, this park won the Selangor State Level Best Landscape Award in 2002 for the 'Urban Park' category.

The Silver Jubilee Memorial was built on the border of the Klang Municipal Council area to commemorate the Silver Jubilee celebration of the reign of His Majesty Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Alhaj.
The monument was inaugurated on September 30, 1985. It is shaped like a dagger, a weapon that symbolizes the power and sovereignty of Malay kings in the past.
