SHAH ALAM, 2 AUGUST: The public has the opportunity to enjoy the Royal City Council of Klang's (MBDK) parking compound reduction offer as low as RM15 throughout this month.

The local authority informed that the offer in conjunction with the month of independence also involved compounding various traffic offenses up to RM300.

"People are advised to clear compound arrears at a rate as low as RM15 before stricter action is taken including prosecution in court," he said.

However, he said the compound under Paragraph 51 which is the offense of parking in a special lot and Paragraph 36(2)(e) which is the offense in the Disabled Person (OKU) lot is not included in this campaign.

"The offense in Paragraph 36(1)(a) which is the offense of obstructing or causing obstruction to any parking place or space is also not included in this campaign," he said.

He said that compound checks and payments can be made through the MBDK website ipay.mpklang.gov.my/home/kompaun, _Smart Parking MBDK_ and _Smart_ _Selangor Parking_ applications as well as KPKT online services pbtpay.kpkt.gov.my/home/semak.

MBDK also provides payment modules through i-Kiosk machines at MBDK Head Office Sultan Alam Shah Building, Pasar Besar Complex branch offices, Jalan Meru, Jalan Tengku Kelana, Jalan Raya Barat and the lobby of GM Klang Supermarket.
