KLANG - The Royal Klang City Council (MBDK) issued a total of seven compound notices to representatives of metal goods business premises in the Unlicensed Premises Enforcement Operation in Bukit Raja Town here.

MBDK in a statement informed that the action was taken after the business premises in question were found not to have a valid license in addition to committing various other offences.


 


MBDK issued a total of seven compound notices in the Unlicensed Premises Enforcement Operation in Bandar Bukit Raja.

"The inspection was carried out at Jalan Astana 1B, Bandar Bukit Raja. When we arrived at the location, we found that this premises was operating by carrying out activities such as selling and storing metal goods.

"Further investigation found that the premises were operating without a valid business license and advertisement from the MBDK for the year 2024," said a statement in a post on its Facebook page on Friday.

In the meantime, the local authority also informed that the premises were also found to be operating causing a disturbance and obstruction in front of the premises.

"The seven compounds were handed over to company representatives who were employees for the offense of operating without a license, displaying billboards without a license, and creating nuisance obstacles in front of the premises and on the shoulder of the road.

"The compound is issued under UUK 3, Trade, Business and Industrial Licensing Bylaws (MPK) 2007, UUK7 Advertising Bylaws (MPK) 2007, Section 46(1)(d) Roads, Drains and Buildings Act 1974," added that statement.
