SHAH ALAM, 30 NOV: The Klang Municipal Council opened a special counter to renew business, industry and advertising licenses at Dewan Hamzah from 12 to 30 December next.
President Noraini Roslan said the counter's operating hours start from 8am to 4.30pm on Monday-Friday while Saturdays (9am to 4pm).
The counter will be temporarily closed during breaks from 12.15pm to 2.45pm.
"MPK also provides the service of six computers to visitors who want to renew online in the hall.
"I am asking for your cooperation so as not to make it at the last minute. This is to avoid being fined if it is done after December 31," he said when chairing a full meeting at the MPK headquarters here today.
Noraini also reminded the people of Klang to immediately pay the assessment tax for term 1/2024 before or on 29 February 2024 to avoid being charged a notice fee of RM20.
According to him, checking the tax balance and payment can also be done through the MPK portal is https://ipay.mpklang.gov.my or https://pbtpay.kpkt.gov.my.
